Copenhagen, 2-5 February 2012

With its second interactive meeting a group of 25 young professionals from academia, civil society, foundations and public institutions and from across Europe set milestones for transnational cooperation to boost participation of people in all social and political dimensions. This Community, initiated by Citizens For Europe e.V., aims at empowering its members to raise the quality and impact of their projects through cooperation, sharing knowledge and creating synergies. Additionally, Community members set up common transnational projects aimed at creating new forms of civic participation, esp. in political live at local and European level.

The Community allows for the exploitation of collective intelligence by applying highly participatory methods of exchange, collaboration and sharing and functions as a laboratory to create new contacts, project ideas and resources. Overall, the Community serves as a source of inspiration and energy and it is an open, fluid and adaptive system of knowledge and resources.
